"We had
a really good time at your place. It's such
fun to be in a facility where everybody -
equine, human, feline, canine (especially
canine) were at peace. "
"Hey guys. I just wanted to send you a
couple of pictures of Apache. Sharon rode
him today in two parades, one in Quitman,
and the other in the nearby town20of
Mineola. I'm still not riding on pavement,
again, yet. However, in Quitman, Apache was
a champ (I didn't go to Mineola). He was in
between several fire trucks blowing their
horns so loud, I felt my ears flutter), and
he didn't even budge. He's great. I might
get up the nerve next year. But, I'm riding
him on the trails, and he's a great joy.
Thanks again for making it possible for me
to have such a wonderful horse. I was
singing to him this morning, "Born on a
mountaintop in Tennessee...". But, his name
isn't Davy Crockett" |
